IS NATURAL BEAUTY PRODUCTS BETTER THAN SYNTHETIC ONE?

Important questions usually appear when you must make a decision to choose natural beauty products or synthetic products are:

  1. Are the synthetic beauty products so harmful that they should be banned?

  3. What if a natural beauty product is not available for the treatment of a particular skin disorder.

The reality you will find about beauty products in the market are:

  1. Usually synthetic beauty products due to presence of synthetic preservatives, but they may be contain natural source as active ingredients.
  2. It is really tough to find a natural beauty product that is 100% natural. Natural source easy to become rancid. And because of their short shelf life they are not preferred by the manufacturers or the price will be more expensive.
  3. Many beauty product companies are coming out with “All natural” and “Organic” products and most of them claim that their products cannot cause any harm to the skin.

With many new products released into the market every season, it is hard to keep track of the safety of every product. As consumer you must make your decision wisely. Don’t become a producers’ advertisement follower. Here are some tips for you to get best beauty products:

  1. Recognize harmful chemicals that might be contained in your beauty product. If you find them, avoid using that product. They include rhodamin B in your lipstick, rouge, and blush-on, and hydroquinone and mercury in your moisturizer.  
  2. Avoid using beauty products contain synthetic fragrances. Studies concluded from patch testing show synthetic fragrances are made of many ingredients which cause allergic reactions. Natural source has softer smell than synthetic one but it is safe for your skin.
  3. Natural beauty product should apply to suitable skin type. An unsuitable natural skin care product can harm you in almost the same way as a synthetic one.
  4. Apply natural beauty product properly.  A good natural beauty product (in fact any product) can seem useless if not used in the proper way.

Natural beauty products are the best, especially if you have skin problem like need acne medications, but you might need synthetic ones too when a natural solution is not available.
