Skin oil is produced by the sebaceous glands; which make an oily substance called sebum that normally empties onto the skin surface through the opening of the follicle, commonly called a pore.  People who have oily skin type produced oil more than normal or dry skin type. It makes their skin look shiny and also may feel oily to the touch. It is prone to acne too because oil clogs the pores of the skin, and the effects are, naturally, the production of blackheads and pimples, as well as enlarged pores and redness.

Most people with oily skin hesitate to apply moisturizer on their face skin because of their excessive oil. They are inclined to reduce this oil with cleansing their face more frequent. Washing your face frequently with soap can takes away essential oils from the skin and makes your skin dry. In this situation you need right oily skin care products.

Oil is important for moisturizing the skin, and you can take comfort from knowing that oily skin delays wrinkle, age spots, and fine lines. But as we age the sebaceous glands become less active and production of collagen and elastin diminishes, making it much easier for aging signs to form.
