Basically, all skin types respond any adverse conditions when using skin care creams. This tolerance is very easy for sensitive skin and is quickly damaged or can easily irritate than another skin type. Sadly to say, that it does not work well when apply the normal skin care creams to the sensitive skin over a long period of time.  It will cause uncomfortable to the sensitive skin. Continue using it will just alleviate allergies and itchy skin.

But it does not mean that there are no skin care creams which are suitable for those who have sensitive skin. Here some tips to choose skin care creams for sensitive skin:

  1. Most of the allergies and problematic skin are mainly caused by the chemicals ingredients. One of chemical ingredient you should avoid is paraben family like methylparaben, propylparaben, and butylparaben. Paraben-free skin care creams are the best choice. Paraben can lead to allergic reaction called contact dermatitis and other skin irritations in people with certain sensitive skin conditions such as Rosacea.
  2. Avoid perfumes and color additives in your skin care creams because they can cause allergic reaction for sensitive skin.
  3. Choose hypoallegenic skincare creams. Hypoallegenic skincare creams were created for those who have disrupting and problematic skin. It is not only good for those with sensitive skin but also beneficial to those with normal skin conditions.
  4. Use alcohol-free and soap-free skin care cream cleanser. Don’t use skin treatments such as exfoliate products and skin facial too often and too hard.
  5. It is the best choice that you use organic skin care creams. They are free from chemicals that can harm to your sensitive skin.

More attention you should have if choosing skin care creams for certain condition such as acne for sensitive skin. It is better to ask your doctor or pharmacist before using that cream.
